21. Workplace Violence Prevention

ZTS maintains zero tolerance for workplace violence. Officers must report threats, intimidation, assaults, or suspicious behavior immediately. Preventive measures include situational awareness, early intervention, and adherence to de-escalation protocols.

  1. Mobile Patrol Operations Mobile patrol officers must follow all traffic laws, maintain vehicle logs, conduct timed patrols, and document all observations. Vehicles must remain clean, serviced, and equipped with emergency kits.
  2. Access Control Procedures Officers must verify identification, enforce visitor logs, monitor entry/exit points, and apply site-specific access policies. Unauthorized access attempts must be reported immediately.
  3. Lost & Found Protocol Items found on premises must be documented, secured, and reported to both the supervisor and client representative. Officers must not keep or remove property.
  4. Hazard Identification & Safety Reporting Officers must identify hazards, document findings, and implement immediate safety measures where feasible. Unsafe conditions must be escalated to site management.
  5. Customer Service Standards Officers represent ZTS and must demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and conflict-free interactions.
  6. Cybersecurity & Data Protection Officers must safeguard electronic devices, avoid sharing passwords, and follow secure data practices.
  7. Post Order Compliance Review Supervisors will review post orders quarterly for accuracy and alignment with legal/operational standards.
  8. Uniform & Equipment Accountability Officers are responsible for the care and condition of all issued gear. Loss or damage must be reported immediately.
  9. Policy Compliance & Violations All employees must comply with this manual. Violations may result in corrective action or termination.
